Thevin Gajaweera
Head of Brand Partnerships at Talentted.
I negotiate the brand partnerships behind Talentted's roster of 40+creators, across golf, finance and family. That covers the whole deal rather than the introduction: matching a brief to a creator who can actually carry it, setting the rate, negotiating usage rights and exclusivity, managing the concept and the approvals, and reporting what the campaign returned. To date I have negotiated $9.7M in brand spend.
Talentted came out of BeMultilingual, which the founding team built from 2022 into the largest professional human-dubbing company for creators, working with a client roster totalling over 200M+ subscribers. That work reached Netflix and Amazon Prime acquisitions and a US government project. Two of its largest clients asked the team to run their brand partnerships, and Talentted started there.
The roster now reaches 180M+ followers, majority US. What I write about here is the part of this business brands rarely see explained: how a rate is actually set, what sits in an influencer contract, and why campaigns fail at the drafting stage rather than over price.
If you are running a campaign and want it handled properly, see how we run brand partnerships.
